Aw, easy one. Actually two activities make me feel free. Swimming in my pool and riding horses along the river. It used to be when I was flying one of my planes but I'm grounded now so these other two activities take it's place easily.

That sounds great!

I have a couple! Cooking is one, I love to cook, it makes me feel good when people enjoy the food I make.

A nice phone conversation helps me more than anything though!

I'm not a great cook, but I bet your kitchen smells lovely, the smell of good food always makes me hungry.

Hi Katherine,

Where I live in Washington State, by August the Skookumchuck River is so gentle that even someone my age 72 can take a rubber raft and spend a summer afternoon floating downstream to the swinging bridge at Schaefer Park...

And rafting through all the primeval forest and the pastoral farmland, I always go into a beautiful reverie of such freedom!

That sounds wonderful and very relaxing.

When I'm home on my back porch with a beer and looking at those rolling hills and a few of my cattle at peace. Love that view and it makes me feel free and glad I fought to help keep it that way!
