I've been invited over to a sweet ladies house for Thanksgiving. Have to be on my best behavior and dress nicely but she's worth every second of it. Not much of a Turkey eater but I'll eat it to be polite!

Wish me luck! This year? I feel very thankful!

Happy Thanksgiving, Rooster!

I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that you will enjoy wonderful moments.

We are not celebrating Thanksgiving here, but there have been various events and celebrations, recently St. Martin's Day (in many European countries), and some are still to come, like the Onion Market in Berne or the festival "L'Escalade" of Geneva (commemorating a historical battle, in which the citizens of the city-state of Geneva fought back the troops of Charles Emmanuel I, Duke of Savoy, in 1602).

As for the Saint:

And, if you like onions, the Onion Market in Berne might be of interest:

Rooster I am always wishing you well, and so glad you enjoyed your holiday! I think you are the kind of person who can adjust and be comfortable around almost anyone, and that is a wonderful talent.
