He was age 76, born in 1942.  <3

One of his quotes I love best..."It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love."

What a shame as the world lost one of the most intelligent men who ever lived! He'll be sorely missed!

The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.

And he lived with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) for 50 years.  Astonishing.

I remember wondering, when reading A Brief History of Time, what was there before time started?  :)

Well Tink, Carl Jung has an interesting way to address your question; in his autobiography MEMORIES, DREAMS AND REFLECTIONS, he talks about going over a hill in Africa and beholding a timeless herd of reebok (or something), thereby creating time, in other words we humans create time!

Then there is the verse by Rumi:

"Come out of the circle of time

...and into the circle of love."

Yes I have loved your question, I also have been fascinated by time...!
