Post the names or image of the animals in alphabetical order. You can choose a less known animal and so others can learn about it.

Proof that the internet may have a lot of information, but not all of it is right.

When seeing a picture, check first the corresponding web page or blog for further information; in many cases, the picture seen is one among several - or "leopard" is mentioned in the texts of this page or blog. Hence the errors.

let me know when you get to Whales.....I have an acquaintance who knows all about dorks.....

Marianne Freeranger Feb 16, 2016

May I suggest that, using your "answer" you take part and add a mammal beginning with "P"?

For instance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_pika

and for your friend (or your joke): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dork

@Freeranger

Hello, Freeranger - you are waiting for the "Whales"; there are several options (beginning with) "R" for your friend!

New to me. Cute<3

Marianne Marianne Jun 8, 2016

It is a smaller species of the anteater family, the lesser anteater.

:)

HegeMarie Marianne Jun 10, 2016

Interesting. It lacks the "broom" tail of it's larger relative.

Marianne Marianne Jun 10, 2016

Yes, indeed, and it is much smaller, as it climbs on trees.
