Newspapers are yesterday's medium. Today I get my news from the Internet primarily from sources like the ABC (Australia), The Guardian, the BBC, and The Huffington Post. But there are many sources available and you can often to straight to the horse's mouth.
Yep, but being that I don't really have time to read them, I currently have a stack of unread newspapers about eight inches high. Note: Our local paper is rather slim, so eight inches of news equates to about three months worth. :-)
My parents used to subscribe to the NY Times until its reporting became left-wing propaganda, worthy of comparison with the old Pravda.
Example: The Times was beside itself with disappointment that Netanyahu won re-election last year, seeing fit to include no less than three editorial opinions in its brief opening paragraph reporting his victory.
"TEL AVIV — After a bruising campaign focused on his failings, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel won a clear victory in Tuesday’s elections and seemed all but certain to form a new government and serve a fourth term, though he offended many voters and alienated allies in the process."
