None of them deserve an "A" in my opinion.  Some are better than others, but the court as a whole has inserted itself in ways that it was never intended.  Their job is to determine the constitutionality of matters brought to the court.  Instead they are more often writing law from the bench or re-writing law.

Alito, Scalia and Thomas understand their Constitutional duties, Roberts and Kennedy usually (but not always) do, and the rest are liberal/progressive activists bent on legislating from the bench.

Elena Kagan gets an "A" from me.

Why, pray tell?
MidnightCowboy MidnightCowboy
Because she deserves it.
TheOtherTink MidnightCowboy
What did she do to deserve it?

And skip the tautologies, if you please.  :-)
