I always use the word movie in English but in Swedish it´s called film.
I go back and forth between calling them films and movies.

I generally call celluloid - movies. However, I also use "film" from time to time. I also like to say, "Are you going to the movies?"
I use both words regardless the type of recording equipment. The word 'film' usually has more prestige though.
