I used to hear cheap offers everyday but I usually ignore them since they are mostly scam. Now there is an Indian smartphone marker named Ringing Bells have fooled the media too. They have announced a smartphone named 'Freedom 251' which is available for $3.67; £2.56; ₹251. But no one can buy it still now and it is not possible to offer a smartphone with the mentioned specification. The mobile becomes a trending topic in social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. They have also copied the design of the iPhone.

Do you think the mobile as a Scam or Genuine? Looks like in the future mobiles will be sold like selling fruits. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-35595500

Don´t know about the mobile so can´t really answer on that. But if it´s for that price it´s probably fake.
Looks like they are legit since all the media including the BBC has published that they are giving the smartphone for the cheap price.
They have only limited number of smartphones, maybe just 1000 pieces and they will end the offer once all the available stock gets sold out.
Is this only available in India or in other countries too?
I will buy a dozen of this smartphone for spare use if the offer is true.
I don't care
Here's the story...

Since there is no cell phone reception where I live (regardless of phone manufacturer or mobile carrier); I'd say they're ALL shit.
Scam. It's a cheap Chinese smartphone clone being rebranded.
If it does come out selling at that price there is one promise. It's going to be loaded with maleware. Just like a lot of the other cheap Chinese clones, just this one will have exrta Indian voodoo.
don't buy any knock off brands of tech from China or India if you are smart. It's safe to assume it's going to be loaded with bots, maleware, and root kits.
