That's just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of ! He's going to spend a bunch a money just to show everyone what a fool he is ? If they let that go then next people will want to marry their cat or dog.....or worse.
Marrying an object is silly, but since same-sex marriages are now allowed in many places, there is no logical reason not to allow polygamous/polyandrous marriages between any number of consenting adults of any gender or mixture thereof.
And of course, the age of consent could also be reduced, if NAMBLA has its way...
Since only humans can consent, I don't think a marriage to an object would be legal.
If he has Cortana on his unit, it just might say "Yes" !
