How do you handle friend requests from people you've never heard of?

	What's a friend request?

I'm with Rooster. On sites like this I accept almost everybody unless their posts indicate otherwise.

I don't use FB, and its ilk, but anybody who accepts unknown people as friends on such sites is probably asking for trouble.

On websites like this, I'll friend them back but I don't use Facebook, Twitter or any of the others, so I don't get into it. I'm kind of a private person and plan to keep it that way.

But on these sites, I don't mind making friends with anyone !

You can check them out all you want and that still does not guarantee that they won't be an asshole. Most of the people who harassed me on Amiritie, were friends on SH.

I have a very Strong Gut instinct and know when someone doesn't quite hit it off with me.

i don't care who adds me on these kind of sites but if it's on a more personal site like facebook. i don't  add strangers.

I accept them and pray for the best. I usually don't think anyone sent me one just to harass me.

I accept the friend requests on social network. Then I look their profiles to see if they are the fakers and chat with them to see if they are are scammers. If I see that my friends are scammers and trools I unfriend them.
