I've been in few failed relationships and few years ago I decide not to have any more relationships.

Do you think my decision is healthy ?

I suggest you to find a good man. Not every man is bad.

I don't think there is a blanket answer to that question, Anna.  I've known people in both situations that are happy.

I was married for many years to a lady I loved like no other until she started drinking heavy. Then became mean as hell. We divorced when I just couldn't take any more of her accusations and filthy drunken talk.

I've been single for a few years now and couldn't be happier. I date a couple of different ladies and one is very special but I'm not committing to anything.

So, my answer to your question would be Yes, your decision is healthy. You never know when someday that right person will come into your life. Take your time and live life the way you wish. You're young and have a long ways to go.

Best of luck to you and welcome to ihavesolved.

Dear Anna,

Yes I think your decision is okay, and maybe the right one for you right now...certainly not unhealthy! At the same time, I have a couple of tweaks to suggest?

Just let your life unfold in the most beautiful possible way, whatever that may turn out to be...personal connections are precious, and you can just nurture each friendship to its best potential. I am now age 73, never married, and my life has been the right one for me and very fulfilling!
