I know that Dad was born in Wales in 1884 (yeah, yeah, but the math just works out) and came to Oz with his family in 1888. Mum's family (she was born in 1896) came from England and her grandparents were transported for some petty crime or other. Her father worked hard and became wealthy though none of that came our way.
End of family history. Sorry. I should imagine most of my ancestors were nonentities, as most people are.
Grandfather owned a sheep station (ranch in US parlance) and this photograph was taken there in 1916. My mother is on the bullock wagon.
To the 800s on my Swedish mom´s side but not so far on my dad´s side since there isn´t enough information about it since he was born in Malaysia(with Chinese ancestry). On my mom´s side we found royalties and Vikingkings (mostly Danish).
Not too far, but to about the 1700s with my German relatives. Also my family goes back to the 1850s in California, which makes me like a California "native" at least in terms of the Europeans who came there lol. Also I probably am a distant relative of Kevin Federline. Despite our names being spelled differently, my research found that the spelling of my last name shifted over the generations. lol, so who knows.
