I'd say then you've probably live in a very safe place (or don't get out enough).
If you travel like you have talked about, just be careful because there are a lot of unsafe places (also safe places) but you always need to keep some guard up, at minimum be aware what could be going on, both good and bad.
They can be heavy or light, got a lot of choices with guns.
BUT you always got to be smart with them, because it only takes one half stupid thing
and things go from bad to HORRIBLE in a split second.

Part of me wanted to take it off of him that Night *like I have taken Car Keys from a Drunk Guy before and given them to the Bar Owner* but the other part wanted it out of my Flat/
I wonder how I would of felt if he had Killed someone , knowing I could of stopped him.
Like I said, you got to be very smart with them. The best way to stay safe with them, is to never let anyone know you have them in the first place, unless you're in fearing extreme injury or attack, keep them hidden (if it's legal to do so).

Only then did I consider owning a Gun but Loved ones and Friends talked me out of it and we moved away from that area.
I am not about to let some Idiot that I have seen holding up the Bar , drive off anywhere , I'm sure they Thanked me in the morning , even if pretty mad at the time.
@DS :P or @Ser Yeah well, if you're not used to guns, you very much should get a lot of training before considering to keep one on you, or even maybe at home especially if you have kids because kids like to play with stuff they find hidden (or not hidden) and that's a whole different danger.

@ Zolfie Drinking copious amounts of alcohol , saw him grab his Car Keys and followed him outside and offered to ring a Cab for him, the Owner of the Bar did it for me.
I could never have a Gun in this house , don't even let C run with Scissors.

Chinese throwing Stars , had an ex who collected stuff like this , used to have great fun throwing them at his Cork board :) and he taught me how to use NunChucks
@Ser Well she better be happy that the family is getting her food from the Supermarket, she could always get it herself :P (not really depending on the age, but shows how important a mum is) :-)
