They "failed" me on my first attempt because they tricked me once and because my old truck couldn't do a "3 point turn" on the super super tiny road they test on, it was a two lane road but the road was only wide enough to be one lane and my old truck's turning radius was NOT good enough. I borrow a parents newer vehicle with a great turning radius on the second test and knowing the tricks I planned ahead for them and the guy couldn't believe I didn't pass the first time, because I was one of his best drivers. And they only tricked me the first time because I was feeling the pressure to react to what they tell me right away, when I should of waited for a better spot.
But I was pissed about the 3 point turn, because he said I only failed because the combination of the two mistakes, and the 3 point turn error was because of the old vehicle, not the driver.
I don´t have it yet and have already tried taken it 4 times now but failed everytime because of my nervosity. And I spent a lot money on lessons. And I don´t like driving so much either. It seems to be easier to take the driving licence in US.
Yes, it's easier in the US because they don't drive on the wrong side of the street like they do in the UK, Japan and Australia. Fortunately, Sweden changed about 50 years ago, so you have no excuse. :-)
Yeah:) But I think sweden is one of the hardest countries to get a driving licence in. In India for instance you can get a drivinglicence by paying with some money from what I heard. I have myself spent around 8221-9395 dollar for lessons and tests.
Yeah it´s quite expensive. I payed a little more than 117 dollar almost every time I had a lesson and I have also taken many lessons. And that was when I drove for almost one and a half hour. So now I only want to take private lessons at home.
That's incredibly expensive! Music lessons from a professional musician don't cost that much in the US, and a driving teacher needs much less training and talent.
I think about 18? Growing up on a farm, I started driving tractors at an age that would horrify. By the time I was in my teens, there wasn't much I couldn't drive.
Well, i have a spinal condition called ankylosing spondylities (a type of fast porgession arthritis that causes bone fusion in my spine, and causes bad inflammation in other joints around your body like the shoulders, hips, knees, kneck etc..).. sadly. the imflmation worked its way down to my hip and i didn't get treatment fast enough (me being stubborn to go to the doctor) so it toally damaged my joint. i do regret not going to the doc right away because the situation could have had a better outcome.
although, my hip has improved a lot over the past 5 months but i still have along way to go before it gets even better. its a slow progress (i just gotta keep walking every day, buld up muscle around my hip, do stretches to loosen my hip joint)
I got it when I was 16 on my second attempt

I was 16 years and 10 days old when I got my drivers license. That was so long ago that we didn't even have pictures on our licenses.
16.
But it wasn't a Croatian license.

I waited on purpose until I was at least 21.

Took the test on my 16th birthday and passed the first time. Of course, I'd been driving for four years by then, so it wasn't all that difficult.
maybe one day if my hip gets better.

I was 23. Had to wait until I could buy the car.
