Lassie: Jeff or Timmy?

Question

When the "Lassie" TV series began in the 50's, it was the Miller family with Jeff along with his Mother and Gramps.  Later, came the Martin family with Timmy along with his Mom and Dad.  

So, if you have watched "Lassie," did you like Jeff or Timmy better?

For me, it has always been Jeff.  I liked the original Miller family better.

I have to say the original, Jeff. Timmy was just too cutesy.
