To give a give makes me the happiest.

I don't really like accepting gifts from people.  Usually I prefer to give something because when I want something I'll buy it on my own.

I'd much prefer to give something - so much fun especially when you give a gift because there's a need, such as groceries, or shoes for the kids, etc. Giving when the other person is not financially able to reciprocate works best for me - I don't want someone to feel obligated to give me something in return just because I was able to fill a need they had.

I like to see the expression of joy on the recipient's face.  Giving gifts to others makes me happy.
