Well.....in a round about way. Some of my family went out to the gold rush back in the day and came home with quite a bit......over the years, what wasn't invested in the woolen mill seemed to ummm "evaporate" with the rest of the female dowerys when they married their husbands who couldn't spend it fast enough.
