I used to live near Washington, DC, but the squirrels then were never as squirrely as the current inhabitants.
I spotted this one in the back yard. Possibly related fact - I saw him the day after I attended my first Tea Party meeting.
Only squirrels in this neck of the woods are ground squirrels.
