I leave pennies in the coin returns of vending machines, because they're worthless

Yes I do pick them up for good luck...sometimes I even put pennies thus collected in a little cup! Then pass 'em on, occasionally, or maybe I put them on family graves for Memorial Day!

Actually, I forgot to specify that we have not pennies but Centimes (sometimes Euro cents), Rappen, Centesimi or Raps - lol.

Only if they are Indian-head or 1943 zinc.

Otherwise we have a jar full of them waiting for redemption at a change machine.

Our jar runneth over.
