It's been one of my great interests for more than forty years. I learned to play when Bobby Fischer was carving his way through the Russians on his way to Reykjavik and the World Championship.

I've even written about the game and, although I'm a fairly average player, have a very popular chess blog. It's taken from a light-hearted point of view with lots of off-beat topics like Play Taller Chess, The Kamikaze and the Dive Bomber, and Ambush!
