It's not the usual overdraft.  It's a line of credit.  If I overdraw my account, it's covered and the bank charges me interest on the money I'm using like it's a credit card.  When I get a deposit, the credit line is paid back.  There are no per use fees or bounced check fees or anything.

No, but I've never needed it, and I pay absolutely nothing for my checking account.

I don't know, my master takes care of all that..
