No. But when I was in New Zealand about 1996 I was watching Searching for Bobby Fischer and a woman came to visit me about 15 minutes before the end of the show. It was five years before I caught it again on Australian TV.
You should have given her a few chess problems to mull over, and told her you would return in about 15 minutes to check her solutions.
That movie is on YouTube now. I think I'll watch it.
I enjoyed it, but once I'd seen the end never wanted to watch it again.
The lead character, the real life Josh Waitzkin, was remarkable. He was an extraordinary chess player but at about age 20 switched from that to Tai Chi (the martial arts form) and went on to win a world championship.
