I think so because the Democrats will be solidified to reject any SCOTUS Nominee of his who is adversarial to their beliefs.

My question is, when this happens, will you happily accept it as part of the process when the Republicans call the Democrats "unwilling to compromise" (or worse); the way Democrats referred to Republicans when they did the same exact thing?

Either way, much like Obama, Trump can veto and force his decisions (so you can be ready with your chants of "tyrant").

Of course, it's part of politics while I don't like the idea of the supreme court justice being appointed instead of elected. Why can't we vote for our supreme court justices, it is a crippling flaw of our current system.
