And now, according to the NY Times, "As of early Monday afternoon, there were indications that Representative Marcia Fudge of Ohio would replace Ms. Wasserman Schultz with the opening gavel scheduled for 4 p.m."
Marcia F U D G E? Saturday Night Live could not have picked a better name for a fictional sketch. You can't make this stuff up. In any case, she'll be f u d g i n g plenty.
Update: Instead of F u d g e, the Democrat's convention was called to order by Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the mayor who gave the protesters in Baltimore "space to destroy," which they ardently did.
Further update: After Rawlings-Blake called the meeting to order, F u d g e is chairing the session; and she has her hands full. The TPP is hitting the fan, much to the Establishment's embarrassment.
I've read some about that and it does sound like a double standard. They sure seem to have a problem with their e-mails ! LOL
