8-6-7-5-3-0-9...playing at the DNC. It's the first night so maybe the alcohol isn't flowing yet..few dancers, but at least they have rhythm. You want to see something REALLY scary? RNC delegates swaying spasmodically to Rock the Casbah. These people would deem to make decisions for the rest of America? If I were an immigrant watching that scene in another country, they would not need a fence to keep me out.

But Paul Simon definitely sang the wrong song tonight.
"Mrs. Robinson" would have been much more to the point.

Paul Simon looked like they dragged him out of a hospital bed. I hope he's okay.

I think Bernie Sanders could have sung the song better.
I'm not so sure about that but hope Paul recovers. I think a lot of these appearances can be impromptu and it's not so easy to just start singing when you hit a certain age. Carole King looked good but sang off key. They are both amazing talents who have nothing to prove of course.
I doubt if it was impromptu. Conventions are staged and heavily scripted. I would guess Simon had at least weeks to practice.
The DNC has better musical arrangements.
