I know I would in a heartbeat, but not everyone feels the same as I do. That's why I'm asking this question. I want to see who would want to and who wouldn't want to. There are no wrong answers here.
Sure I would... I had a very happy childhood.
That's not to say I didn't make my share of mistakes, but I am reminded of the Tallulah Bankhead quote:
"If I had my life to live again, I'd make the same mistakes... only sooner."
I admit that my childhood was far from perfect. And, there are some incidents I'd rather not relive. But, compared to my current life, my childhood was far better, which is why I would return to it in a heartbeat if it were possible.
The one I remember the most fondly is when the family drove to L.A. and went to Disneyland in the early 60's. I was in awe of the place and they had just opened the Matterhorn ride. What a thrill that was.
I liked Space Mountain in Disney World. Still do.
Never got to try the Matterhorn... I don't think they have one in Disney World.
I don't know if they do or not. It just opened when we were there. A looooong time ago!
Why not, there have been some interesting highlights.
I would return to my childhood.
Only the horse riding, I loved being at the stables with the horses.
Pepper Pot! Great to see you!
Sorry Rooster having been on the sites as much. Budtit is utterly useless. I'm opting for this one, hopefully the others will follow and the traffic will pick up.
I hope so too. I use Answermug when I'm not busy in the mornings and come here some also. You mean buttit? or arseit? LOL
Those hours down the park with parents having no idea when you would come home...Yeah.
Sure! I wouldn't stay there forever because I'm happy with my current life, but I'd love to revisit the childhood days when I lived with my grandparents .... also fun teen years.
