Rodney was awesome.

I really like George Carlin. He was a brilliant man. RIP

Rooster Jonny Goat

@Jak : I saw both of them live and almost died laughing so much!

There were quite a few comedians I like(d) very much - there are too many, and I just don't know where to begin:

Charlie Chaplin, Marx Brothers, Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton, ...

Norman Wise, Peter Ustinov, Lucille Ball, Jack Lemmon, John Wayne, Spencer Tracy, Peter Sellers, Terence Hill, Bud Spencer, Jacky Chan, ...

Bourvil, Fernandel, Annie Girardot, Alice Sapritch, Pierre Richard, Dominique Lavanant, Louis de Funès, ...

There are, of course, many more, less known but brilliant comedians.

Hi Rooster,

I have been watching lots of the old Paul Lynde videos from the game show HOLLYWOOD SQUARES lately...especially since I learned of his tragic early death....for just funny, he was wonderful.

For humour spiked with wisdom, I think George Carlin. I still remember the first time I ever saw him, it was on TV maybe 1962. One of those times when something is SO funny you don't even laugh...his humour went beyond laughter, somehow.

@ Virginia : Paul Lynde always had that sarcastic type humor with those looks of his. Truly a funny man!:D

George Carlin was always one of my favorites. The only one I've seen live was Carrot Top...it was before he became freakish looking, reminds me of a creepy clown lol!

As a child, I watched re-runs of 'The Honeymooners' (still do, sometimes). I thought they were screamingly funny. :D

Still see those on GetTV. Love to watch them! :)
