Lol - yes, I saw an information on-line, early this morning.
Here in Europe, we have lots of commercial events and local festivals, but no national doughnut (or donut) day.
And I must disappoint you; I am not a fan of conventional, deep-fried doughnuts - but I like them baked, like in this case:
I could sure go for a glazed donut!
