How bad is Texas flood and how long will it take for it to become normal

The flooding is very serious by American standards, but nothing like what the Indian sub-continent often has to endure.

I think recovery in Texas will require many weeks or months.

I haven't experienced a flood in my lifetime. It happens in other places. The temperature always remains hot.

@ Hitman,  well maybe Texas did, but not those poor folks that had their homes flooded by 6 feet or more of water.
