O'Tink, to come up with only one best-loved would be difficult...the Pachelbel Canon in D a definite contender...also Beethoven 5th Piano Concerto, and his 6th Symphony the Pastorale...
Since age 18, I have loved Domenico Scarlatti; JS Bach especially the Glenn Gould interpretations; Boccherini's famous minuet, but especially Night Music From The Streets of Madrid. And since you posted Mad Mary and her brother with their very special Ode to Joy, I have listened to that semi-daily!
There are quite a few, and I don't know where to begin.
Debussy (Arabesque, 1 and 2)
Chopin (Nocturne)
Beethoven (Pastorale)
Liszt (Love Dream)
Tchaikovsky (Concerto pour piano no 1)
Yes, I love the Pastorale, especially the 3rd movement, with the oboe and bassoon counterpoint.
Kind of got me there as I'm not much of a classical music person. I'm lucky to have any class at all! LOL. But I do like some Wagner here and there.
Yeah, Rooster, ya gotta watch out for those valkyries. They are SOME tough broads.

She also does classic folk tunes.

That she is, Virginia!
Carmina Burana
Excellent choice.
