Does Trump want WWIII?

Trump ordered murdering the Iranian general. Milo Đukanović of Montenegro, the USA ally, wants to own monasteries of Serbian Orthodox Church located in his country and creates a conflict with Serbs.

I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal out of all of this. Iran has wanted it all anyways and was quite obvious about it even back when I had my tours there. Let them have that shithole and then they can deal with the different Muslim sects there instead of us wasting our time, money and blood for people who don't even care.

I've been laughing at some of these people worried that they may have to serve our country in a crisis that's never going to happen.

I cannot agree that the killing of Soleimani was "murder," any more than the shooting down of Yamamoto's plane in WW2 was. Yes, WW2 was an "official" declared war, but Soleimani was conducting a guerilla war, and was responsible for over 600 US soldiers being killed and many more wounded. He deserved no protection.

I know nothing about Đukanović. I did see this article, in which he claims the Serbian Church is promoting the ideology of "Great Serbian nationalism" in Montenegro.

And evidently, neither does Iran; their missiles didn't kill anyone.

Hi Kninjanin,

I disapprove of Trump, because of what I saw when he was running for president in 2015 and 2016. However, I do not trust the news media to give us accurate information, and I think there have been some indications that Trump is trying to avoid war...as it is said he promised in his campaign.

If I were to make a guess, I would say that Trump is pushed into mistakes by the American "Deep State." And that is something all Chief Executives must face now.

I do think the Deep State wants war, and specifically war with Iran. I am very concerned, but I still have hope Trump can avoid war.

I think it is not coincidental that until after WW2, the sons of the rich elites were expected to serve in the military, as a matter of honor (e.g, the Kennedys, the Bushes). But since then, they have generally avoided serving, preferring instead to enrich themselves without taking risks with their own blood.

So yes, Virginia, I think we should follow the money, although to be fair, I think we are also still fighting the Cold War, trying to avoid the mistakes of the period between WW1 and WW2.

I highly doubt that! He was advised about the situation and made the right decision. That so called General has been undermining U.S. movements in Iraq and is responsible for many terrorist attacks. Good riddance!

As far as war? No way. The Iranians themselves know they couldn't win any kind of war with us and they'll just sabre rattle back and forth until it blows over.

Let Iran have Iraq! That's all they've wanted since the beginning of this foolishness.

Actually, I think the Iranian ayatollahs want more than that... I think they would like to re-establish much of the the old Persian empire, including not only Iraq, but Syra, Lebanon, Arabia, and of course Palestine (i.e., Israel, after it has been destroyed).
