I awoke from a very sound sleep to find myself in pitch darkness, inside of what seemed to be a narrow wooden box, surrounding me on all sides.

 Driving along in your old Honda, and the automatic locks on the car doors start going up and down by themselves...

(This is not a story, this really happened to me this morning, and it was SPOOKY!)

Nah... that was just a government compliance-monitoring drone (made you know where) flying overhead and messing with your car's electronics for violating the stay-at-home orders.
