I like the British system, where the loser in suits like this pays the winner's legal costs.

It would put a lot of slip-and-fall American shysters out of business.

Sir Furry, I am studying to learn what I can about the pandemic and its virus, the SARS CoV-2  -- although my (pre-retirement) health care background was in cancer tests and not infectious disease...but sometimes, there is truly a sense of wonder, because truly we are all living through an historical time right now!

Yeah-I just have nagging doubts isolation was not the way forward looking at countries that did things differently.And I live in Wales which remains the most lockeddown part of Britain.Despite having an almost zero infection rate.

Yes I have been somewhat following the different policies to address the pandemic, and the cost of deep lockdown does seem very high. However, the USA is seeing huge surges in cases and hospitalizations in states coming out of lockdown too quickly...a few places like New Zealand and Taiwan have done extremely well but for most of us, it does seem we could do better than we are.
