SFA did you know that your countryman Tom Jones has turned 80 years of age this year???

I did not listen to this whole thing, but enjoyed skipping around through it...Gladys Knight and the Pips, yes they were from the same era too. Weren't the Pips relatives of hers, they were all cousins or something?

Surprised to discover Jones the voices -Pontypridds finest-(and Pontypridd was the last place i visited before lockdown)-video is blocked here.

He was having hits   before i hit double digits so not surprised about his age.The dogooders are after Delilah though because of what it is about.

Tom Jones the Welshman and his 80th birthday video is blocked in Wales? O-SFA, something is not right with the world, here... 

But the video does show him returning to Pontypridd, in his big car and so happy because now he can afford to buy everyone a round at the pub!

Oh and he does sing DELILAH in this...I had actually forgotten the storyline, she laughed at him, and he felt the knife in his hand and then she laughed no more!

His voice got damaged in Germany, also in Nevada; the doctor said it was because the air was so dry there. So Tom Jones says that must be the reason so many great singers come from Wales, it rains so much there! I was well into my majority when he became famous, but still much younger than I am now!
