I’m a Welsh....they wouldn’t let me.

But if I could it would have been Biden!

Hope the Americans find some better candidates for the next election!

We have elections in May...

"I’m a Welsh....they wouldn’t let me."

Oh, you should have come to Philadelphia and registered as a Democrat... I'm sure they would have found a way. :D

There's a fuss going on right now... in some places, they want to accept mail-in ballots in which the signature doesn't match the signature of the [deceased?] registered voter.

You can vote if you are dead?:D

Yes, you can "vote" if you are dead, and your name hasn't been taken off the rolls, as they often aren't for years:)

I voted for neither Biden nor Trump; I left the presidential line blank to register my displeasure with the quality of both candidates, as I did in 2016.

I could afford that luxury because in New York, my vote would make no difference in the outcome, New York being heavily Democratic. Had I lived in a state where my vote might make a difference, like Pennsylvania or Florida, I would have voted for Trump, to punish the Democrats for their criminal corruption and dishonesty that has been immense even by third-world standards.

As it was, I voted for the Republican member of Congress, in the hope that if Biden wins, he (i.e., his left-wing puppet masters) will not have a legislative majority.

I really do worry about America when i see the qualty of your Presedential candidates.

Not that we are any better. We have a bumbling buffoon in charge of the UK that 65% of those who voted didn’t want(that’s our crazy system for you)and a guy in Wales who revels in trying to score points over Westminster. You not locking down -we will. You deciding to have one?Oh-we’ll end ours.

I did have it explained to me how Democrat and Republican related to Labour and Conservative.Forgotten what thzt would make me.

In Madam Secretary neither a Democrat or Republican won the Presedential election.

I assume that in the real world that could never happen.

We all voted last week and like Tink, I left the presidential space empty. Wouldn't matter anyhow as this is a red state.

Hi Kninjanin,

I absolutely could not bring myself to vote for either Biden or Trump...I chose a 3rd party candidate, it was either Libertarian or Green Party, don't really recall. I thought about writing in Eugene V. Debs (Debs was a socialist ... convicted of sedition in 1918).

His statement at his sentencing hearing on Sept. 14, 1918 has become a classic, called "one of the most beautiful and moving passages in the English language." Here is a quote:

"Your Honor, years ago I recognized my kinship with all living beings, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth. I said then, and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free."

I think Tink's post presents the best reason to vote for Trump. As for Biden, Washington State where I live is geographically conservative, even though it goes blue because of the large population in the big liberal cities. And it is in our rural areas I see the reason to vote for Biden; all the ultra-conservatives here ready to mount an armed revolution if Trump loses... How do we divert away from that violent dynamic not continue to encourage it over four more years, as Trump does?

Biden has been a war-monger in his own right, however, and neither candidate is acceptable to me.

Regarding the divisions, as our greatest President once said,

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”

Tink I just watched the latest Libertarian Report Ron Paul...I don't buy everything he says, but he really helped me to understand our monetary system and the importance of a gold/precious metal standard. And they make a highly plausible case of voter fraud...you and I talked about this a while back...

I also left that space blank. First time I've done that as a life long Republican. Trump blew it with his mouth and Biden is just a front. No way I'm bothering to vote for either.

Isn't it about time that someone steps up who really cares about our country and all of it's people?
