When i was a kid we used to have an Eisteddfod in school in the morning...and the afternoon off.
Somehow it doesn’t seem important this year....nothing does.
In Cymru, Eisteddfods hold sway,
Encompassing Saint David's Day,
And Tink comes betimes
With her limerick rhymes,
To blow the Welsh poets away.
Good night!

Yng Nghymru, mae gan Eisteddfodau ddylanwad,
Yn cwmpasu Dydd Gŵyl Dewi,
A daw Tink betimes
Gyda'i rhigymau limrig,
I chwythu'r beirdd Cymreig i ffwrdd
Dylan Thomas has nothing on Tink!
Dylan Thomas... pfft... a rank amateur!
Yup Tink could show Dylan a thing or two about going gentle into those good nights, not to mention green fuses driving flowers!
