I recently heard that the Russians gave back Chernobyl to Ukraine as they didn't want the mess they created years ago!
I heard of nuclear catastrophe in Černobil. I am against nuclear powerplants.
Unfortunately, nuclear power is the only viable alternative to fossil fuels.
Best would be controlled fusion, if only they could make it work efficiently. They have been trying for decades.
There are plans afoot to build a major nuclear power plant at Oldbury on the River Severn.
That is so close to me I am worried.......a Chornobyl type incident and South Wales is gone.
Hopefully, a nuclear power plant in Wales would be far better designed than the Chernobyl monstrosity. Chernobyl exemplified the traditional Russian disregard for human safety.
