We have a live one which I will put on the back porch so it can acclimate again before I plant it.

Normally, I like to have it down by the 3rd

The day after Christmas, my tree and all decorations come down. My tree is only about 18 inches tall, I just pick it up and put it in a bag, decorations and all.

I deep-sixed it over the weekend......I propped it up out by the pines, just so I could still look at it a while longer as some sort of paen.  At some point I'll burn it.
