All politicians assume that we, the voting public, are too dumb to recognise lies when we hear them. Further, they assume that those who know they're lying will trust them to do the right thing.
Democrats lie. Republicans lie. The little guy who wants to be mayor of your town lies. It's in their nature.
I appreciated Tink's video of Hilary telling lies. It certainly gives credibility to some of the outrageous statements the GOP and its supporters have been making about her, but a similar video could be put together about ANY of the contenders, whether elephants or donkeys.
It is a given that all politicians lie, but it is not the case that all politicians lie to the same degree.
I think Hillary is among the worst offenders in that regard, if not THE worst. Anyone who disagrees is welcome to post a video similar to the one above about the candidate of their choice.
And as for anyone who supports her despite her lies, trusting her 'to do the right thing,' he should also understand that she won't do anything about a donor that paid her over $600K for three one-hour speeches... anything, that is, except serve the donor's interests.
A few years ago one of our TV channels invited several leading politicians to be filmed taking a lie detector test. One guy, the Premier of Queensland at the time, was asked, "Do you intend to keep all your election promises?" He replied that he did and the interviewer said, "That came up as a lie." Abd ge burst out laughing. He knew he was lying, and he knew that few voters would expect an election promise to be anything else.
You're probably right about Hilary. I'm not close enough to judge, but I wouldn't be too quick to give her opponents a clean bill of health, either. She really does seem a poor choice for a presidential candidate.
In case there are some Hillary fans out there who need their memories refreshed: :-)

Btw, one of her earlier lies (as First Lady) was that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary.

No, she is power hungry and will do anything to get what she wants, even staying with one that
is one the biggest cheaters in our history.
Hi Zbacku, and welcome! I remember you from SH.
Yep, that's me.
