Kangaroos look great on TV and they're wonderful to watch in the wild -- we have quite a few in our area -- but they can grow pretty big and if, for some skippy reason you just don't understand, they feel trapped or threatened, those claws on their hind legs can do a LOT of damage. Let's scratch the kangaroos.
Koalas, huh? Lovely things, Pretty. Cuddly. The trouble is that almost all the koalas still living in the wild are carrying a venereal disease. There's been quite a lot of work done to breed a clean strain in a suitable habitat but I wouldn't fancy having one in the house.
They are indeed adorable. But they belong to their natural habitat.
Koalas are a critically endangered species, and they are not for amateurs, as they need special care and living conditions. They also spoke about a disease which could cause their extinction.
Also kangaroos or wallabies have their needs, involve responsible care, and many subspecies are also endangered.
And pets are no toys, which can be dumped after use.
By the way, several kangaroos or wallabies played the role of Skippy.
I favor kookaburras.
Koala looks cute but I don't know about its behavior.
Koala bears are so cute!

Now if you'd been asking about dogs...
Both are wild animals that would be happier in the wild and not living with me.

I don't wanna get in a fight with a kangaroo
