The 90's seemed to put out a lot of alternative hard rock and metal that spoke to me, but I love the 60's, 70's, 80's alternative/metal, 00's alt/metal and even now, 10's alt/metal.
There's awesome new stuff coming out all the time.
Even though the 1970s were before my time (born in 1979), a lot of that decade's music is really good. And, since the 1980s were my childhood, it's no surprise that I would vote on 1980s music since it brings me back to my childhood when I hear it.
Edit: Of course, there is some good music in many decades before the two I've chosen. 50s and 60s have some good songs that I like. And, let's not forget classical music from many decades ago.
I like Trance/Electronic music, so, my music keeps up with the times.
I grew up in 00s so it has a special place in my heart. But I also enjoy a wide variety of 60s-90s
The music from my childhood.

I liked both decades, because they broke away from the decade before them in a very explosive way.
60's 70's 80's and early/mid 90's
60s, 70s and 80s.
I actually voted for the 1970s and 1980s.
