Not on purpose, as formerly, the authority of teachers and educators was, in general, strictly respected at all levels, from elementary to high schools. Rude questions and answers could involve very harsh sanctions. But like everywhere, there were some engaged, highly appreciated and respected teachers.
And sometimes, hilarious errors, misunderstandings or accidents happened.
Oh, yeah, lol.. I have no clue why anyone would want to be a middle school teacher.
My 8th grade self was quite the firecracker
In my mind, I did.
Only one. And that was because they were an idiot and didn't know what they were doing. They always found out I was right and they were wrong.
Eventually, they learned to look up what I was saying and see if it were true before an argument started. When that happened, agreement.
Only that one, though. They were the only teacher I found to be wrong 50% of the time.
