They'll care just about as much as people that supported Obama did when it was revealed the only reason he was elected Senator of Illinois in the first place was because he made use of a loophole and had his competition (and mentor) disqualified, meaning that he essentially ran unopposed.
I don't think they'll care because their choices aren't so good right now. Kind of odd how people sweep this kind of stuff under the rug and don't think about it when they vote !
And that's why elections are decided by the 15 or 20% of people in the middle who do think about these things when they vote. The rest on either end of the political spectrum are taken for granted by the pols, although the establishment pols might be in trouble this year by thinking that way.
