When I get a thumbs down I always assume that it's Ancient Hippy paying me back for all the times I've rattled his chain ... and for all the times I've said complimentary things about his ex. >:-/
I wouldn't do that to YOU though...I know how hard it is trying to beat Steven out of his top position in order to get that [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] PRIZE. LOL
I've never given a thumbs down and never even considered it............until now Didge. I'll call your wife and tell her to draw a target on your hump.
Me neither, Hippy. We certainly had some donnybrooks on Ask back in the red thumb days. One Christian lady declared that she red-thumbed every answer I gave without even bothering to read them. I didn't mind.
This site is very new...only about three weeks old.
Dan is doing a great job making all the adjustments needed to make this site work the way everybody wants it to work. ;*)
I never said he wasn't. I answered the question asked without adding extraneous info.
Good question that I've thought of but didn't ask, I don't think we know.
It would be nice to know, but only if it's not too much trouble... it's not extremely important but it would be nice to know who might be agreeing with you with an up vote or down vote so you could talk with that person about the subject (or completely avoid that subject with the person) depending on how they vote, etc.
Example, the system just informed me I've gotten a down vote on opinion above and I don't know who it came from... so I don't know if I upset someone, it's a jerk that I would ignore or it's a playful person or friend just joking around with me...
Also why does the system inform you, that you got a down vote?!?
I don't want negative news, if I wanted that I'd live in the real world, the internet is suppose to be all good vibes JK :P :)
I totally agree with you on this. It would be nice to know. I don't want to know who down voted me though. That can cause too many problems and retaliations.
It's not that I'm in a hurry. I'm sure Dan is working away at perfecting everything, but it takes time and he's off to a good start.
In the meantime, I think I merely asked the question no one else had asked yet perhaps. No biggy.

Because the nature of the question makes it a good one to mess with someone on.
But you're right it could of been a mistake,
I miss seeing who is Voting for me , don't care about DV's unless they have a Genuine Grievance.
I think on every Site I have been on , I can see who UP VOTED me and that's Nice because I know they appreciate my Input.
Dan PLEASE change this for us
so we can recognize our Followers.
think Dan or our friends were testing out the dv feature tbh
lolz
Several users asked about knowing who is upvoting them; I think that Dan will help.
In the meantime, I think I merely asked the question no one else had asked yet perhaps. No biggy.
Lol - as far as I know, Dan is settling the matter.
