The present is all we can control, though we can and certainly should plan for the future. So I focus more on the present, even though the past sometimes demands my attention.
I doubt if any of us can live solely in the moment.
Definitely more on the past. That's when things in my life were (for the most part) better for me. And, I always feel nostalgic when I think about what used to be around in the past.
I do sometimes focus on the present and even the future (neither of which I like, by the way). But, compared to how often I focus on the past, the present and future don't even come close.
Past, Present, and Future walk into a bar. Bartender looks up and says, "Whoa, you guys are tense!"
I probably focus on the future too much. I'm always thinking about what I want later, so I try to focus on the present more
And then the future.
Here and now!
Yesterday is over can't change a thing.
Tomorrow is not promised.
I care about the present.
I doubt if any of us can live solely in the moment.
can't really do much until my back and hips get better. just take it each day at a time really.
The past is an appreciation of things gone before, the present.....a moment to observe. The future?......moments to contemplate I think.
