I like to use a bookmark.

I try to use an actual bookmark when I can because they're sturdier and don't tear or get wrinkled the way a random piece of paper does lol

I read almost everything on my device, so it's a virtual bookmark.

When reading a real book, I do have some nice bookmarks.

Depends what I'm reading. I have a few bookmarks but if I'm reading a study book I prefer paper that I can scribble notes on.

I can't stand losing my place , so I only use these Magnetic Bookmarks that never lose my page and they have funny quotes on etc

Normally, I prefer the bookmarks, but sometimes, when there are not enough, any piece of paper will do. I remember having brought for a colleague a whole set of nicely decorated bookmarks from abroad.
