No, not unless you are including children's books or comic books.

I remember one time when I was 10 reading several books at once, switching off every chapter

I get immersed in a Good book but I couldn't possibly read all day.

It is rare, but I have done it. Usually books of poetry, but I have read some novellas in the course of a day.
