Have you ever seen something strange in the sky which you couldn´t really explain what it was?

Yes, I did see something that at first scared me because of strange lights, but later I discovered that it was normal aircraft.

I saw a VERY bright meteor once, skipping off the edge of the upper atmosphere.  Someone with me thought it was a UFO, but it was just a meteor.

Not really.

I already knew we had had "serious" connections with at least eleven species currently living on Earth, but it really hits you, when that figure doubles, triples, and carries on. The whole hugeness of space. And we are nothing, but a tiny speck of blue in the midst.

But, I guess that was the only reason you asked this. I mean, it's not likely that I join here and suddenly this comes up. Send them my helloz. ;o)

In the movie jaws, there are some scenes in which a strange light flashes across the sky.

A meteor has been discounted because the object changes direction, but to this day, no one knows for sure

Yes-a few years back stepped outside on a cold clear evening and saw something burning high in the sky,moving quite quickly.At first thought it was a plane on fire but it was probably a meteor.And no reports in the local press of other folk having seen it.Weird.
