It happened in the spring of 1991 when my wife and I travelled to Scotland to spend the Easter holidays. We had took 5 days off work to celebrate Easter. Fortunately, we managed to find a hotel upon our budget. In the middle of the night, I woke up only to find the room freezing cold. Thinking a breeze was blowing, I checked if the windows were shut. To my surprise, it was already shut tightly and no wind could enter the room. When I went over to the radiator, it was so hot that it nearly burned my torso. Not long later, I heard some knocking on the door. My heart was in my mouth when I checked the door only to find that nobody was in the hallway. The next morning, I told my wife what happened but she doesn't believe a word I said. No matter what others thought, I could guarantee that it was something I barely could explain. It still scares me to this day.
