Do you appreciate that Walmart has a greeter when you enter their stores?

I appreciate that they employ older and special needs people to fill this position, but I don't need or want to be greeted myself.

Yes, I appreciated it, but the Walmart near me doesn't have greeters any more! 

At least not in the evening, which is the only time I go.

There's someone standing near the door at our Walmart, but they don't greet people.  They're there to check receipts when people leave to make sure they're not stealing anything.
